The Ricercare duo, made up of Marisa Gómez and Ignacio Gea, specializes in early music with original instruments: lutes, Renaissance guitar and Renaissance vihuela. Musically trained at the Joaquín Rodrigo Conservatory in Valencia, the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, the Carlos Morel Higher School of Fine Arts in Quilmes and the National University of La Plata in Argentina, they have received also classes and advice from great personalities in the world of early music interpretation, such as José Miguel Moreno, Hopkinson Smith, Konrad Junghänel and Mario Videla. They have offered recitals in countries such as China, Mexico, Uruguay, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Italy, Germany and Portugal.
